Faculty approach to Blackboard module sites

In September 2013, the Faculty introduced a Blackboard Module Template for all its modules. All staff are to use Blackboard for their module delivery and to follow the Blackboard module template guidance, which is on the FET Blackboard Module Template page on this site.

Faculty approach to Blackboard programme sites

As of September 2014, all Faculty programmes are to have an active Blackboard programme site. It was agreed at the Learning and Teaching Student Experience Committee [LTSEE] on 19 May 2014 that the Faculty would adopt guiding principles (and not a template) for its programme sites. A draft of these principles went out to Departments for consultation after the LTSEE meeting on 16 June 2014. The final Blackboard programme sites – guiding principles were approved at LTSEE on 14 July.
