Walk authors can create learning tasks elsewhere on the web and embed these in In The Zone for learners to engage with. This flexibility enables educators to create appropriate tasks for their learners using the online tools of their choice, not limited to the functionality of the native tasks available. Sophisticated surveys and quizzes can be created using, for example, Google Forms or Typeform and these can be embedded in In The Zone for learners to complete when they visit zones.
Learners’ responses to these embedded tasks are collected in whichever tool is used to create the task, e.g. responses to a Typeform survey are collected in Typeform itself.
